Signs and signage for businesses in the Peak District, Bakewell, and Buxton.
We specialise in manufacturing signs that fit in harmony with the surrounding area.
Profiled letters & signs.
Profiled letters are a good economic way of
creating a sophisticated looking sign. As the impression it
gives is a depth to the sign, however the lettering it's self has no
depth to it. These can be created in a variety of materials
depending on the application. Also Parlite and MDF can be carved
with the use of a CNC machine to give a textured or even bevelled
look.
Vinyl signs and lettering.
Vinyl lettering looks like painted
traditional lettering. They are very durable and last approximately up to 7 years
in the elements and maybe even more in sheltered positions. This
type is by far the cheapest and if your budget is tight then this
could be a good way for you to go. There is two different types of
vinyl signage, flat vinyl colours and printed media.
Carved signs.
Hand carved signs look fantastic, especially around the peaks and other rural areas. However they can
be quite expensive. With our computer controlled routing system and
over 20 years experience in computer aided design, we are able to
produce realistic looking machine sculpted designs. We can even put
chisel marks and textures such as wood grain in.
Illuminated signs.
The traditional way to light signs has always been
florescent lighting, however with LED prices falling,
illumination with LED's is now possible for a similar price. This gives
major advantages over florescent and neon signage. The first is the
compactness off the lighting. It is now possible to construct
illuminated lettering styles that would have been impossible.
The second is that they don't consume as much power. In fact LED
lighting is 80% more efficient than neon.
Vehicle graphics
Your vehicle doesn't just get you from A to B. It
also says a lot about your business and can be a very good source
of advertising.A lot of people make the mistake of putting
too much on the van. A passing motorist will see the van for only a couple of
seconds and isn't going to take in 25 lines of text whilst driving.
The best way is to make a visual and momorable impact with 2 or 3 of your main
products.
